Why are the Patriots ALWAYS mentioned when a good player is available??? It disgusts me.

In a way I"m pisssed off.

Does anyone think this would've been a good deal for us?
Would you have made this deal if your Buffalo?

I mean, we have a much better pick than Baltimore too so I'm sure Arizona woulda listened.

At least that aren't getting that player.

I wonder when they will release Adalius Thomas. I'm suprised it hasn't happened yet, maybe they're hoping for a trade.

love his game, and he is a top wr in the league, however, never plays a full season, and the man is a warrior so i question his longevity at this level

I think NE39 would say this:

Agents always like to say that the Patriots are interested, because 1) it helps drive up the price for the player and 2) the Patriots never comment on prospective players publicly.

no thanks. I don't want an injury proned 30 year old WR. I honestly would rather see what Hardy can do and spend the money addressing the lines and a QB

Anquan Boldin agrees to a new four-year, $28 million contract with the Ravens.

Fair enough, assuming we spend the money.

THAT'S IT?????

somebody tell me why this deal would be too steep for the Bills to pay. BIG DEAL!!!!!! you lose a 3rd and 4th but you get somebody to line up opposite side of Evans and get a 5th.

let me guess.... he's up for a new contract.

He's injured too often for that kind of money.

We could have had Jerry Rice, Andre Reed and Sterling Sharpe on the field last year and not made the playoffs. We need a QB and lineman before we need Boldin.

Four years for 28 million is a very good deal to make. I don't care how old he is, he's still a very good WR. People always talk about his injuries, but look at what he does when he's on the field - he's definitely a difference maker.

having Evans and Boldin would make Buffalo an attractive place for one of the better QB's on the FA market or who's being talked about in trade rumors. give me McNabb to go with Boldin and this offense is looking to make some noise. but once again, the Bills FO FUMBLED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would have loved to him at that price. He's coming off a 1,000-yard season, played 15 games, and he's NOT old. He would turn 30 in October. He's in the prime of his career. It's a need position. He'd be a possession receiver to complement Evans. His forte is YAC off short passes.
A third and a fourth was all it took? In a frikkin second.

it's easy for people to do their immitation of Trent Edwards as Captain Checkdown when they talk like that. what's next? the TO excuses???

30 or older and on the downside of their career = not coming to Buffalo. Nix may have to use smaller words next time.

I wonder when they will release Adalius Thomas. I'm suprised it hasn't happened yet, maybe they're hoping for a trade.

There is no real sense of urgency for them to cut him, since he doesn't have a roster bonus or anything due soon. They probably will hold onto him until the start of the offseason program, since if he hurts himself and can't play they will be on the hook for his salary.

However, considering he will sign with the Jets the day after being cut and there is no deadline they have to meet to avoid paying him, it probably won't happen until the end of the month.

His salary probably makes a trade pretty unlikely. He is due a salary of $4.9M.
