Larry Foote Profile

An NFL source has confirmed for Scout.com that former Steelers and Lions linebacker Larry Foote will visit the Washington Redskins on Monday and Tuesday before heading to Arizona for a visit with the Cardinals on Wednesday. While Foote doesn’t have the Buffalo Bills pencilled-in on his travel itinerary yet, the team has been showing interest in the eight-year veteran.

Seeing the long list of teams in front of Buffalo, either a) they fall on the lower end of the list for Foote, or b) they're not even on the list

If we get him, maybe we can shoot ourselves in the Foote a little more...or a similar joke to the same horrible effect.

Didn't Foote play ILB? Could he play the weakside OLB spot?

Foote started in the middle.

If Foote came here to play ILB, where would Poz/Mitchell go? Mitchell would stay on the outside? Would Mitchell start over Foote or vice versa?

Prob Poz to the outside Mitchell and Foote in the middle.

Mitchell would certainly be at home in the 3-4. Unlike most of the team's linebackers, the 6-foot-1, 253-pounder has the necessary size to play the scheme.
Gailey said he is thinking about starting Mitchell next to Paul Posluszny at inside linebacker. He has been the Bills' best blitzing linebacker, especially when coming up the middle.

Well he would probably come extremely cheap which is probably the only reason we're interested.

Foote is just another crap signing. This is making me sick.

Why would he pick the Bills over the $kins or Arizona ?

Foote and Mitchell would battle it out for the ILB spot next to Poz. Loser is depth.

In your eyes, could this franchise possibly do anything right? Why do I get the impression that if we traded a 7th round pick for Peyton manning you'd still be *****ing.

So in another thread your complaining about not having depth and bringing in quality players to fight for spots. now in this thread your *****in about bringing in depth? what gives?

Those are so entirely different in a 3-4 that it would be like asking a dermatologist to deliver a baby.
