RUMOR: Joey Porter visit

It looks like OBD is trying to get Joey Porter in for a visit this week. It may or may not come to fruition, but there is interest on the Bills side. Interesting because I had thought Porter wasn't a fan of George Edwards. Maybe it was something else that went sour for him in Miami

It's Blame Canada...he has excellent sources! I like that they are going after Porter and trying to bring him in, good veteran guy to help out the young and inexperienced LBs for the 3-4. He's an ass, but I still wouldn't mind him here.

This would be like signing Bryan Cox to the Bills...lol I hate porter but he is a good player. Maybe we can keep Carwell Gardner in the locker room to keep Porter in check...lol

Just having him for our young guys to watch and learn how to play the rush OLB in the 3-4 would be valuable.

Miami didn't seem to think he had enough left in the tank to be more than a situational pass-rusher.

I don't know how well he would hold up on the strong side, something I don't think he's seen since Pittsburgh.

I disagree. Cox hated Buffalo! He flipped the bird to the fans. I loved how firey Cox played i wont lie. But Porter wasn't like that when he played against us. He just beat our ass. Would love him a Bills uni. GO BILLS
