I can't read the article since I don't have insider, but it says Lynch may be traded to SD for a 4th round pick.
Lynch to San Diego?

Re: Lynch to San Diego?
If the Bills are smart, they hold onto Lynch until his stock is up. Why would we trade him when he had the worst year of his career last season? It doesn't make sense. It's not like we have another back that is ready to step in.

Re: Lynch to San Diego?
Given Lynch's off-the-field problems and lack of production, I could see why they would move him. However:
1. Lynch and Jackson are the only RB's on our roster, and we'd be creating another hole.
2. A 4th is too low. I'd say a 3rd is fair given the other issues I described.

Re: Lynch to San Diego?
i suggested this in another thread, but what about Lynch in a deal to san diego with Vincent Jackson coming back -- even if a pick has to go back to san diego.
i realize that lynch has some off - field issues that decrease his value, but so does Jackson. in fact, he may face a suspension for a 2nd DUI.
this does fill a need for the bills and for the chargers.

Re: Lynch to San Diego?
I understand the wish for higher compensation ... but outside of SD, there may be zero market for a backup who is 1 strike away from a 1 year suspension.
The new administration may not want any distractions, coming into their first camp (see Incognito) .
It would also fuel the C.J. Spiller thinking.Anonymity is an abused privilege, abused most by people who mistake vitriol for wisdom and cynicism for wit

Now, RB is an easy hole to fill, so if we were in a better situation, I'd be all for it. But at the moment, the switch to the 3-4 leaves us hurting on D and we still need to fix the O. I think it's too much for us to afford at the moment.
And that's assuming SD would even give him up, which I doubt.
