All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Maybe not.. But can't discount the fact that out of every free agent on the market this was the very first guy they brought in, so they obviously were very interested.

Maybe Wade has grown with experience, but he wasn't really much for Miami when he was thrust into the sorry o-line we had at the time.
Its 3 mil a year. Isn't that what we paid for Cornell Green?
They both seem like similar caliber players with Smith possibly having the edge and without the domestic abuse.
The difference is Green has been starting at RT the last 3 years.
Smith is primarily a fill in Guard when starters go down.
The Houston Texans have signed versatile offensive lineman Wade Smith. According to FOX Sports, the four-year deal is worth $12 million and includes $6.25 million in guaranteed money. Per the report, the Seattle Seahawks and the Chiefs were interested in Smith. “Wade really enjoyed his other visits to Arizona and Buffalo, but Houston was the first team we heard from after midnight Friday," agent Brian Parker told Fox Sports. “He felt it was the right fit for him.” Smith has played tackle, guard and center, but is primarily a guard. Last season, he started nine games for the Chiefs. Smith has previous stints with the MIami Dolphins and the New York Jets.
There's nothing similar about them.
Anonymity is an abused privilege, abused most by people who mistake vitriol for wisdom and cynicism for wit
