Mancari just scored, something Stafford rarely did while playing.

And Torres got his second assist in three games since the trade.

he throws his weight around, he goes to the front of the net, and he created a couple of offensive chances.

Don't get me wrong- I don't think he's the second coming of Pat LaFontaine or anything. But he looks like someone who can contribute to this team.

Probably because he wants to earn a spot on the roster and not go back down to the AHL. It's nice to see someone work their ass off instead of the higher paid guys who are comfortable with their roster spot and invisible most nights.
