If he thrived so much, why did they sign guys to replace him and then cut him?

If he comes cheap, sure. I wouldn't be against seeing him in a rotation with Johnson for a year or two.Comment

Broncos released DL Kenny Peterson.
The Xanders/McDaniels regime gave Peterson a three-year deal last year and started him in all 16 games, but he produced just one sack, 40 tackles, and was ineffective against the run. Peterson, 31, shouldn't draw much interest.
