All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
id like to see the Bills get this freshly released LB
Re: id like to see the Bills get this freshly released LB
What's the obsession with aging role players? We are in a rebuild folks. The only reason we should be signing guys over 30 is if they are premier impact players, or at the very least - have a history of playing with winning organizations so they can have a positive impact in the locker room. Andra Davis is neither.
I'd much rather fill this roster with guys like Brohm and Fred Jackson (unheralded, young (at least when he was signed) and hungry). If we are going to suck (and we will), I'd rather see us do it with young guys who at least have the hope of their best days being in front of them.

We've been doing that for years. It never works. We're getting our stars through the draft and plugging holes via free agency.

This team is going to be built through the draft. Yes we tried doing that the past decade but the people we had in charge were clueless. (not saying that the current bunch of jokers in the FO have a clue of what they're doing) but they at least think they do
The last time the Bills made the playoffs was 1999.

Honestly, this would probably be one of the better moves they could make this season. Experienced 3-4 ILB, at worst he's a good player to have coming off the bench. He'd probably beat out Mitchell for the LILB spot.
I know we're re-building, but you still need guys with a lot of starts in the league to point your younger guys in the right direction.
