the Bills would have to trade down. i wouldn't be surprised if he went to Pittsburgh though.

I like Iupati and Dan Williams, but I would not take either at 9. I love Bruce Campbell, but the work ethic thing scares me a bit too. I really hope by some miracle 1 of 2 things happen. Derrek Morgan falls to 9, or we find a trade partner and drop down. Iupati is athletic, but I do not see the transition to LT. Of course, if he's the top guy on the board we either take him or try like heck to trade down. I would never ever draft need over value. I think it equals reach every time, so I would not be opposed to drafting a guard because you can always upgrade every position, but I do not feel that Iupati is a value at 9. There's a lot of "what ifs" here too. How would the top 8 shake out? Would Kindle still be around? Dez Bryant? Pierre-Paul? Spiller? Morgan? etc etc. I just think there are more value guys out there at 9.

I still don't think Campbell is a top 10 pick or a top 20 pick.
He is the MIKE MAMULA of this years draft.
Great combine but fair player all around...

I will ask you 1 thing about Campbell...
Why wasn't he a 1st or 2nd team all american in the ACC???
He wasn't even honorable mention in that conference and we think he is worth a top 10 pick???

I like Dan Williams alot...
I think he may be the guy the Bills are tageting at #9.
He would fill a huge need for us at DT.
Seen him play quite a bit and this guy can play reminds me of John Henderson when he played at TENN...

If those 3 are gone, as you said I would rather have Spiller.

I would agree with you.

If all those guys are gone and we sign Kennedy, I'd rather beef up the front 7 and take Morgan.

Iupati has issues with holding, this was really clear at the Senior Bowl and that was when he was playing OG, moving him outside to OT where he has less help could prove to be a disaster. I have Iupati as a Round 2 pick on my board, so there is no way I take him at 9.

He's projected at Guard. Not tackle.

We picked up a lot of interior lineman last year in the offseason. That would be the DUMBEST pick. Just as bad as taking Spiller.

Where is Cody projected? Is he an option at 9?

Campbell is very talented and very athletic, but he takes a lot of time off during a game and that is where he needs to grow up. I still see him in the first round, but I wouldn't take him above 20, personally.

I really feel bad on some level for Mamula. His name is synonymous with combine warrior whose workout made him get picked higher. I would like to go on the record and say this is not entirely true. He was a very good college player and all Big East. His junior year he had 12 sacks and 80 tackles. His senior year he had 17 sacks (including 4 in a bowl game) and 70 tackles. He redshirted, so he actually had one more year of eligibility, but he was already a feared pass rusher. Yes, the combine got him a little bump - he went top 10, but was going top 15 anyway. He was used out of position his entire 5 year NFL career (well, 6, but he missed all of 1997), but still started on a very good defense and finished with 31.5 sacks in 5 seasons. Not 7th overall numbers by any stretch, but not a total disaster either. The myth has surpassed the reality big time with this guy and he's brought up every year.

Late round one to early round two. So he is a BIG reach at 9.
