Who were they more interested in McClain or Cody?

I bet they have high interest in both players, because we do need another LB (especially if Schobel retires) and obviously need a NT. Cody could be this generation's Pat Williams if he stays dedicated.

I also think it's just them doing their homework. McClain is a favorite of mine in this draft, so I would be happy with him. Cody is about as scary a pick as we could make. Yes, he is a huge and talented NT. He also takes a lot of plays off and had to bust his hump to get to 350. There were a lot of scouts saying he played close to 400 during the year and I think he was listed in the 370's, but I have to look that up. The constant weight struggle combined with periodic lacks of effort make him a scary pick. If we was a constant 360 who gave a great effort, he would be an early first round pick. Instead, he'll most likely drop out of the first and maybe the 2nd. Personally, I prefer Linval Joseph, but if we go after either, it will not be in round one.Last edited by TedMock; 03-13-2010, 03:22 PM.
