I would rather have Mancari at this point.

I'd rather have Goose- he's one of the few guys on this team who goes 100%, every shift, every night.

However, it would have been nice if they had found a way to keep Mancari in the lineup. I think he has a lot of potential, and he's certainly more motivated and gives more effort than at least 6 other forwards on this team...

You're out of your mind Thurm and for ONE reason -- FACEOFFS.

I think a lot of people don't realize how important faceoffs are. Having one of the league leaders in faceoffs back in the lineup to take important draws is HUGE. Whether its on the penalty kill, powerplay or on a faceoff off of an icing when the Sabres are out of breath, winning the draw is key.

It's a major reason why Kennedy pisses me off. He rarely has a good night on faceoffs. He loses a lot of draws.

They can't keep Mancari.

He was called up on emergency recall. Once Goose was healthy, he had to go down. To call him up, he would have to go through waivers, which he would not clear.

He has been one of the bette forwards the last month of play.

Hell Roy and Pominville are way better than Mancari too.

I liked how Mancari played but there is no way I would play him and sit Goose. The others are frustrating too but I'm not going to pretend that Mancari would actually be an improvement over them for the long haul.
