A week of free agency and all we have in our pockets is Cornell ****ing Green.

He used the Bills as a bargaining chip most likely that's all.

Per Rotoworld- The Bills wouldnt guarantee a starting job to him. So the Bills never really thought that highly of him I guess.

Why would you? He has absolutely no experience in the 3-4 alignment.

Neither does Spencer Johnson, Marcus Stroud, Kyle Williams, or pretty much anybody else on our entire defense. He's a big wide body that has under-acheived in his career. But, he has been playing better with the Vikings.

I'm not saying the Bills should promise him a starting spot. But, i thought he would be a solid addition and would bring some competition to camp.

OBD continues to drop the ball. Time after time this offseason. Absolutely ridiculous.

This free agent class BLOWS!! I'm with Nix on his philosophy of building through the draft, but if he wants to turn things around quickly, we need to start working some trades for more draft picks, now how he goes about that is up to him, but we need more than 2 first & second day picks.

I can't wait till this mockery of a franchise reaches big time in the first round for a Trent Williams, Dan Williams, or Anthony Davis...

He's been playing better a fresh set of legs on tired bodies. Im not overly impressed.

And none of the players you mentioned above have been asked to be guaranteed spotting sports to play here like Kennedy required. Who then signed with Minnesota as a backup.

Seriously, we're *****ing over not signing Kennedy? This guy sucks donkey balls, why exactly is he any better than Spencer Johnson?

Somebody called this the other day, that we signed him we shouldn't have (because he sucks) and if we don't sign him, the front office is incompetent.

I will wait until after the draft to judge Nix and Co. Kennedy is average as best. Not a huge loss on our end. I wouldn't have promised him a starting spot either.

Where have you been at man? You've been on the down low the last few weeks.

It doesnt bother me that we didnt Kennedy. The Bills arent going to be a solid team in the next 2 years. This will be a long and frustrating overhaul.

As Peckerwood said, this is a weak FA year. To many solid players got tendered.

I dont like players who ask for guaranteed jobs. Win your job and its yours.

Dont need Kennedy.

LOL @ the whining. I haven't seen one free agent I've wanted to sign yet. This FA class is a total joke.

No one should have a guranteed starting job.

NOT THE DUDE...

Can anyone say dan williams.... he will be our pick, its either trent williams or dan williams. i would take trent, but i think the bills will take dan...

Because if they are interested, it's probably the best way to find out what the guy actually wants, and where he thinks he would fit in.

I don't understand what it is with some of these guys - no self respecting coach is going to guarantee a starting spot, at just about any position other than QB, and maybe not even then. I'm sure he would have been given a fair opportunity to compete for a starting job, even to the extent of 'pencilling him in', but it wouldn't be any guarantee.
I think it's fair to flag players 'desire' to actually compete generally, if, as former backups, they want guarantees of starting.

Just been busy. Work and life are catching up with me. Plus, the Bills are not really giving me much to talk about. Thanks for asking though.

No big 'loss'....Kennedy's potential here was iffy at best to begin with.

This seems very likely.

They why do the Bills bother bringing in guys like him?

Because guys like him are all that is available this year. It would not have hurt the Bills to sign him, but why should he sign with a rebuilding team like the Bills when he had a chance to resign with a team he was already on that is a Super Bowl contender?

I agree. See Edwards, Trent.
