I believe the "pistol" is an offensive formation, more that the overall gameplan, as it is being referred to here.

Gailey hasn't said a thing. That is pure speculation. ****, he doesn't even know who the QB is going to be. I would hazard a guess, purely based on speculation after hearing what actually comes out of his mouth, and from true insiders. Gailey will assess the talent he has, or lack there of for the negative crowd, and then decide how to run the offense to the get the most out of his players. I think he has only said something similar to this every time he has spoken publicly. So, I am not sure.

It probably will be the "Florida Pistol"...I mean, we already drafted Tebow, and who better to run the famed "Pistol" than the new gunslinger himself?
