Tebow's stock rising? Impressive Pro Day Showing

Apparently he was very impresive during his pro day and showed off improved footwork and a re-tooled delivery. If the Bills do want him, they might have to get him sometime in the first round.

Here's a blog detailing his workout:

I've been a little intrigued by the Tebow experiment, but not at #9 overall. Now I'm not so sure... if they really think he could be the real-deal...

Scouts are walking away from the workout with a better feeling about Tim Tebow than they did two months ago at the Senior Bowl. His accuracy was better and he was completing passes, but receivers found it necessary to reach backwards or bend to the ground to grab his throws. He also under-threw a lot of passes. The general feeling is while Tebow improved he still needs a lot of work on his game.

Sounds like nothing much has changed. He is still a project

From the field: Tebow's motion still a bit funky

We'll have more to add from those who are on the scene, but here's an initial Tweet from Michael C. Wright of the Florida Times-Union:
Looks like Tebow worked out one kink and developed another. There's still a small loop & now a bit of a pause in motion. Mechanical looking.
The "slight pause" comment has me thinking of Charles Barkley's golf swing. Maybe Hank Haney's available to work with this kid? .

You can't fix what a guy has been doing his whole life in a few months.

Funny how the same workout can be viewed multiple ways. The blogger posted about how the receivers were catching passes in stride and everything was on the money. Your post has me at least putting down the Tebow kool-aid for now...

I think there is big money wrapped up in the Tebow hype and someone is greasing that wheel.

but there will be more reports that come out in the next couple of daze that probably paint a more accurate picture then these initial articles and blogs

Tim tebow shouldn't be a QB when he could be the.... ONLY WHITE RB IN THE NFL

Pro Day's are set up for these kids to excel during, if a kid has a bad pro day that's a REALLY bad sign. If he has a good Pro Day its because he is supposed to. Put almost 0 stock in these results.

I think in the time up to the draft, teams that want him will downplay any improvement, while teams that don't want him will talk him up in the hope he is drafted, leaving the player they want still on the board.

You are the biggest combine/proday/numbers person on this board, now it means " 0 " ????? I see. Get your story together.

Totally agree. It might look new and improved in shorts but when a DE is baring down on you I bet he subconciously goes back to the old motion. Which makes him a faster Byron Leftwich.
