FAU Pro Day:

Rusty Smith reportedly looked very good, and TE Jason Harmon is an under the radar TE prospect.

Not sure if Weathersppon is an option for us a 3-4 ILB, but he is a hell of a player.

Baylor:

WR David Gettis is a guy I really like as a late round option, JD Walton is a good late OC option, and Joe Pawelek is an intriguing 3-4 ILB prospect.

Weatherspoon is a guy I'd been eyeing as an ILB prospect, but there's no way he'll drop to the second round with the workouts he's been having. Heck, if a lot of OT's go before #9, I almost wonder if he could be a surprise pick there. Kind of like how fast Mayo rose a couple years ago.

OL Zane Beadles is the main show here, but S Robert Johnson is probably my favorite prospect of the group from Utah.

I look at it as another piece of information that may help to form and entire picture on a player. I don't put too much stock into it personally. I want to see the player on the field, in the thick of the games, not in shorts. But, I certainly can see some value if a performance was drastically better or worse than what a team expected. Has that happened? No idea, that's reading the minds of the teams.

Penn State's pro day:

http://blog.pennlive.com/bobflounders/2010/03/jared_odrick_penn_state_teamma.html

Obviously with the fast track, everyone improved on their combine 40 times.

TE Mickey Shuler was pretty impressive, posting a 4.6 40 (probably more like 4.7 when comparing to NFL combine times), but also did 28 reps of 225, broad-jumped nearly 11 feet, and had 37 inches in the vertical jump. Not bad numbers for a UDFA prospect.
