I'm glad I watched Hawks @ Ducks last night because not only was it a great game (until the winning goal), but I was able to see this controversial play live.

Seabrook lays a hit on Cory Perry in the corner, which sparks Wisniewski to run Seabrook from center ice, leaving his feet on a player who never even had the puck. The hit is about as bush league as it gets. If you see the slow motion replay (go to the 1:10 mark), Seabrook blacks out while still standing, on his way to collapsing. Wisniewski deserves a nice suspension.

Afterwards, the game was ruined when the refs blew what should've been a penalty on Cory Perry for interference. The winning goal was a direct result of the Perry play that should've been a penalty. I was absolutely furious that the goal stood, and I'm not even a fan of either team.

Until the NHL actually starts giving real suspensions to players, these types of plays will continue.

Too bad no current Sabre/pussy would stand up for another teammate and do what Perry did. Somtimes penalties are worth it.

8's enough considering Cooke got nothing for his.
