ESPN draft analyst Todd McShay provided some of his preferences at OLB in a 3-4 scheme.
First, he had Michigan’s Brandon Graham, followed by Texas’ Sergio Kindle, TCU’s Jerry Hughes and Utah’s Kyle Misi and Ohio State’s Thaddeus Gibson.
“Brandon Graham is as good as you’re going to get in this class,” said McShay. ”Now I don’t classify Derrick Morgan or Jason Pierre-Paul or Everson Griffen in that category of 3-4 outside linebackers. Just Graham’s motor, intensity and toughness… I went back and watch Lamar Woodley’s (Steelers) as a senior coming out and compared it to Brandon Graham and there’s not a big difference.”
