Actually I disagree. The Sabres always seem to play down to their competition and struggle against these lower teams.

Only Carolina has been hot lately. Something like 11-3-2 the last month.

They might sometimes but I don't think they do it enough to say it is a consistent issue. If we played down to our competition more often than not then we wouldn't be #3 in the east.

yeah, that's what happens when you get to play 3 games in a row against the Southeast division.

If we got to play almost half our games against those chumps like the Caps do, we might be over 100 points too.
