I was absolutely sure that Tyson Jackson to the Chiefs at #3 last year wouldn't happen either...but man this seems far-fetched.

If McCoy dropped to 7 we better move up for him!

I didn't even notice that...I thought you didn't believe he fits the 3-4?

And then to add to my OP, I have a hard time believing Seattle takes Derrick Morgan over Gerald McCoy.

He could do it, he's not as good a fit as Suh though. He's too much of a penetrator really for me, but he could play the 5 technique. Im not the biggest fan of it, but other scouts are more sure about it. For me its just the value there is potentially huge!

Plus lots more flexibility to switch between 3-4 and 4-3 looks which gives us versatility and hopefully a compeitive edge.

the 3-4 NT is almost as hard to find as QB, and we need one!

This looks like my mock draft after I had about a dozen shots of Crown.

DeMaryius Thomas going 12 overall? No Dez Bryant?

Spiller out there til 14?

I guess we'll have to see but I think Lande wrote this up immediately following Happy Hour

If we trade up for a DT, I will be super pissed.

I dont think he could play the 5 tech, Dorsey who has a very similar skill set to McCoy is struggling with it

The worst part about this mock is that he has us taking Anthony Davis. No thanks!

The only way Detroit passes on Suh, is if they trade down. This guy is a moron if he thinks Suh will slip past the 2nd pick.

Also, the genius doesn't even Have Dez Bryant in the top 16 picks.

That mock is nasty. Not nasty as in good, but nasty as in poop.

My colleague over at Buffalo Rumblings, Brian Galliford thinks that the Bills are doing to draft Trent Williams as well.

Not many recent mocks do.

We all know that means after you drank the neck of Kessler's.

I don't see this happening.

Trent Williams reminds me of Andre Smith from last year. I think both are better suited for RT then LT yet he grades out as a top 10 talent. I'll admit my initial reaction to him is I didn't want him yet the closer we get to the draft the more my opinion changes. In part because Okalahome has produced some good O-lineman in recent years specifically Jamaal Brown, Devin Joseph and Phil Loadholt to name a few. That said I rank him as the 3rd best LT prospect behind Okung and Bulaga.

I met Lande not too long ago. Got to talk with him about his days scouting for the Jets and Browns and then some quick BS about the draft. He LOVES Williams. Said Williams is by far and away the most gifted tackle in the draft. He really likes Okung too. He also thinks Eric Berry is very overrated and better suited for CB. Also open about thinking Bryant is a bit overrated, but still likes him. He's also not high on Clausen, or any other QB in round one except Bradford. Other guys he mentioned briefly - high on Kindle, thinks Buffalo is a good spot for him in the first. He likes Bulaga, but not at 9. Said he's unathletic, but gets the job done. Thinks he'll be serviceable, but the potential is there to be Jake Long too. Similar talent in his mind, but most with limited athleticism don't end up quite as good as Long.
