Brian Stull of ESPN 101 disputes rumors that the Rams have traded the No. 33 overall pick to Philadelphia in exchange for Donovan McNabb.

Stull calls the rumor, which originated from a New York radio station, "incorrect, or at least premature." Philadelphia radio station 97.5 has also apparently gone public with the report, although we're unable to confirm it. Acquiring McNabb would presumably take St. Louis out of the running for Sam Bradford with the No. 1 pick. McNabb, entering his age-34 season, would also require a multi-year contract extension, in addition to the premium draft choice.

They're waiting for verification on Sirius, but Tim and Pat just reported the Eagles may have Traded McNabb to the Rams for the #33 pick. If I see/hear more I'll update. But for now, it's just a rumor.

Update - It's been said it's untrue at worst, premature at best:

ORLANDO -- Donovan McNabb (http://topics.philly.com/topic/Donovan_McNabb) could be in a Rams uniform by the end of the day, possibly by the end of the week.

The Eagles (http://topics.philly.com/topic/Philadelphia_Eagles) have an offer on the table that would give them St. Louis' second-round draft pick (33d overall) in exchange for McNabb. That deal, however, is "not yet completed," according to a league source.

McNabb would be willing to go to the Rams if he was given a contract extension, according to a source close to the situation. He would not be willing to play for Buffalo or Oakland, two moribund franchises that might be willing to take McNabb without an extension.

Easier trading up to 3 then to 1, Hell Tampa is cashed strapped we might be able to jump the redskins and keep our second. I wouldn't hate trading up for Bradford.

Lol, guess I read that a little quick, but my same sentiments apply. Why is it that every story that comes out has to throw a little dig about the state of our franchise.

You tell the 70k fans that showed up every home game to watch a crap product that this franchise is on it's way out.

Or maybe that we weren't interested in a short term solution at QB.

I'll only believe this when they actually start negotiating with him. They still have drafted 3 D-linemen in the last 4 first rounds (2 in the top 10) and OT, LB, DB and WR are far bigger needs then DL

My guess is this makes Okung or Bryant the odds on favorite... if they keep the pick... if they don't, a trade-down with a team that MUST have Bradford or Suh.

A Rams source tells Profootballtalk.com that there is "zero truth" to rumors that St. Louis might send the No. 33 overall pick and FS O.J. Atogwe to the Eagles in exchange for Donovan McNabb.
The source says "all focus" at Rams Park is on evaluating draft-eligible passers. It's worth noting that reports have Philadelphia -- not St. Louis -- making trade proposals. Thus, it's possible that the Eagles are using the media in an attempt to drive up McNabb's price tag. The No. 33 pick, especially in a rich draft that contains at least 50 players wearing first-round grades, is a highly valuable selection. And Atogwe is St. Louis' most reliable defensive back. So is your complaint that he would chose them over us, or that he should sign with none of the teams? All three of the teams are in shambles and are not ready to win this year or next.

Only reason I could see McNabb liking Stl is the dome.

No, just stating that it seems kind of funny that this so called "source" states that he would be open to signing an extension with a team that is actually worse then the Bills. It does not make any sense, thus it is just a crazy rumor.
