Per the tip -- uncorroborated but nevertheless intriguing -- McNabb and cornerback Asante Samuel (http://www.rotoworld.com/content/playerpages/player_main.aspx?sport=NFL&id=1127) would go to Oakland, and cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha (http://www.rotoworld.com/content/playerpages/player_main.aspx?sport=NFL&id=779) would go to Philadelphia.

That's just bat-**** whacky on the Raider's part.

Why would the eagles even want to swap corners? Just to lose Mcnabb? Never gonna happen

Best corner in all of football by far, imo. He is as lock down as they come.

Huge difference between number 1 and 5-10.

he has that Deion effect. Qb's just ignore his side of the field

Not saying it cant or wont happen. .But that trade sounds very Madden'ish.

If it's players they are looking for, im sure Lynch would be of interest (I know they signed Mike bell).

Darrelle Revis laughs at your insanity.

Darrelle Revis laughs at your insanity.

Revis had this season. Nnamdi has been doing it for many.

I mean is Nnamdi that much better than Asante that you just give away Mcnabb? I don't think so and I doubt the Eagles do either.

Revis was thrown at over 100 times last year. Nnamdi Asomugha less then 30.

QBs were terrified of him and never even looked his way. They weren't terrified of Revis.

That's nice, but it doesn't change the fact that Revis is the best cover corner in the league.

Even if you don't think so, to say that Nnamdi is the best corner in football "by far" is ridiculous.

Nnamdi is the best CB in the NFL now and 1 of the best in the past 20 years IMO

You're right. He should have made them pay for throwing at him so much.

he eliminates half the field. Quarterbacks ignore his side. That makes him the best.

Yup, he's phenomenally good. As far as a cover corner goes, I'd put Asamugha right behind Revis.

Hes better then Revis. QBs are afraid of Nnamdi they are not afraid of Revis

You're insane, Revis is damn good, and the #2 in the league but he doesnt eliminate half the field like Asa does.

KC Joyner, from 2008...before Revis really came into his own, in fact...debunking this whole Nnamdi mess.

A little tidbit on Revis:

http://www.ganggreennation.com/2010/1/12/1247924/why-darrelle-revis-should-have-won

What do Andre Johnson (http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/players/2728/Andre_Johnson), Mike Sims-Walker (http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/players/16735/Mike_Sims_Walker), Steve Smith, Roddy White (http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/players/1192/Roddy_White), Chad Johnson (http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/players/19820/Chad_Johnson), Terrell Owens (http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/players/3425/Terrell_Owens) (twice), and Randy Moss (twice) have in common? Three things. They're all among the best receivers of the game. They all had Darrelle Revis chase them around for an entire game. None ended with over 40 yards.
Not to mention that Asomugha sticks to one side, and Revis chases the best wideout he faces all over the field. Which means he gets thrown at more often.

Now, if he were allowing plays due to these throws, I might be able to back some form of "Asomugha is the best in the league." But to say he's by far the best corner in the NFL is just not accurate. Hell, Charles Woodson isn't far behind him, and he's ancient.
