    (OPINION) Calm before the storm

This is a message board and I'm allowed to express my feelings, correct? Everything I post doesnt have to be a report or a prediction.

Anyway. I obviously could be very wrong, probably am, but I just get a sense that this is a calm before the storm.

I think something significant is going to down with Buffalo.. Maybe tomorrow, maybe on draft day.

But I dont see this team "as is" and simply selecting on draft day with all the picks they presently have.

I dont see "as is" and taking a LT in first, NT in 2nd, QB in 3rd, etc.
There's going to be a shake up somewhere.

I see deals coming.. Either acquiring players, trading players or both.

I just got a feeling at least 2-3 guys on this roster are gone on draft day or before, and at least 1-2 new players or additional picks are coming this way.

    Just a sense I get.

I hope you are right. I think we have some players that can/should be moved. The obvious few guys that don't fit in the 34 D. Also, if all this Spiller talk is real, lynch should be traded

i agree with Pat. I think the Bills will cut and resign Klopfenstein three times before Monday.

I'll bet money we do something between now and April 23 that make you say "wow"..

Dont know if its a good or bad "wow"..

Maybe it is taking Spiller when we already have Jackson and Lynch.. Maybe we take Dez Bryant.. Maybe we move up, or down a lot.

Maybe we trade a couple of players.. Maybe we pick up a player like McNabb or someone else big.

I have no idea right now.. I just see something coming, wish I had a better idea of what.

I've been waiting to hear about what their renewal rate has been to this point.

I think you are right Pat. I believe there will be some moves and shakes. They may come closer to the draft though.

Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised to see the Bills do something weird with the #9 pick before or on draft day to save some money.

But I dont agree with that either.. I think "rebuild" is actually the marketing motto this year.

I have total trust in Buddy Nix running this draft. His resume speaks for itself for guys that he has scouted and/or recommended to be drafted.

I agree pat... With all the "it'll take 2 or 3 years" verbage coming from Nix... I think that's just to keep the expectations down.

Sorry, I cant go that far.. He's never run a draft and nobody knows who he really suggested or how much influence he had in the picks.

Having said that, I"m far more optimistic with him here than I was to find out that Dick Jauron had his hand all up in the draft cookie jar before.
