McNabb price is now a 2nd rounder

As further proof that a trade of Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb has become inevitable, the Associated Press reports that the team will consider only an offer than includes a pick among the top 42 in the 2010 draft.

Our 2nd rounder is the 41st.

In the 2nd, your looking at QB's like Tebow, McCoy, or LeFevour.

McNabb makes more sense by the day. He adds legitimacy to this offense and team day one. Spend that 1st rounder on a LT, and then get Linval Joseph in the 3rd, maybe Kyle Calloway or Sam Young in the 4th.

It's unclear why or how 42 became the cutoff point, especially since the 42nd selection, held by the Buccaneers, falls 10 picks into round two.

a Top 42 pick in the draft for McNabb. Buffalo has the 41st selection. Hmmm...

How about a 2nd in 2011? Our 2nds have been better than our 1sts.

How bout our 1st this year?

McNabb can veto any trade I think. He doesn't want to come here. I would love it to happen, but i just don't think it will.

I'd do it. I'd take Spiller in 1st. He could be his Westbrook :) Or draft someone to protect him at 9

                  Reports are that he cant.

That's simply speculation that he would "prefer" to go to a contender. Who wouldn't. None of those teams need him, or reportedly want him.

the "not wanting to come here" report came out with the rams trade, WHICH WAS ALL FALSE so he may have never had said that he doesnt want to come here.

of course he would rather go to a contender....but all contenders usually have qbs.......

I thought i read on PFT that he has a trade clause. Wouldn't be the first time Florio was wrong

No, what was said is that he is in the last year of his contract and could simply refuse to extend with the new team if it doesn't suit him.

He doesn't have a trade clause, but he can refuse to sign an extension with the team that trades for him. It would be dumb for a team to trade for him without an extension already in place. I would literally be floored if the Bills traded for him, with an extension or not.

I understand your take. I disagree.

If you get him here and "give him the keys to the city", you might be surprised to see him want to stay.
