I agree with the bolded...but we do need to draft an ILB this year.

Davis is just a fill-in this year ("stopgap," if you will), as evidenced by the 2-year contract. I believe he's supposed to mentor a young guy this year, and then provide depth next year.

Poz has never been a 3-4 ILB and may struggle. Mitchell...I just don't really like his play, and I'd rather he be a reserve inside. I think we could use a mid-round ILB and a UDFA to fill out the roster.

Spiller is gone, and the two best left tackles (Okung and Bulaga) are off the board. Dan Williams is a reach at nine (IMO), I think Trent Williams is an attitude problem with off field issues and on field laziness waiting to happen.

Clausen isn't a bad pick there at all. If Buddy Nix believes Jimmy Clausen is "the guy", and he isn't acting on Ralph Wilson's orders, or Russ Brandon's attempts at drafting a player to market, then I support the pick 100%.

If and when we go QB, I want it to be a FOOTBALL decision, and a smart one at that.

No one can say for certainty that Clausen will be a bust. No one can say for certain he will be good.

I just hope this new front office, (AKA Nix and Whaley) can make the right call.

Wash will go OL and Sahnny will work just fine with Campbell...
Oak will give the starting job to Graankowski and they will also go OL..
Cleve will draft Berry or Haden if they are there..
