Anyone in favor of this move? You can give up this years 1st, 5th and next years 2nd. Do you do it?

I'd give up this year's first, and a fifth plus next year's first.

Bradford is going to be real good in the NFL.

I'd give the 2 1st's like BillsWin suggested... But I don't think it's enough draft value points to swing it.

just checked... The Rams would need our 2010 1st & 2nd along with 2011 1st.

Depending on where we land in terms of draft pick next year...We'd have to give up our 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th pick this year and possibly a 1st next year (depending on if we're a top 10 pick or late 1st rounder).

No thanks.

NOT THE DUDE...

any trade that goes from 9 to 1 is going to take next years 1st...

Um no your wrong bud. It would be our 1st and 2nd this year and 1st next year. In terms of points.

Your way and my way, each add up to the same point total. Depends on how we finish next year. If we receive the 21st overall pick in the 1st round, a 1st and 2nd this year and a 1st next year wouldnt add up. Would it BUD?

There's more than 1 way to reach the point total in the value chart.

Nope, we need all of our picks basically over the next 2-3 years. If anything we should try to turn our 9 picks into 11 or 12 by moving back / dealing players.

Matthew Stafford was guaranteed $41.7 million last year. Bradford, at #1 overall, would command more. He'll be paid like Tom Brady, and there is no guarantee that he will be a franchise QB. As much as I'd love to have him, the risk and price is WAY too much. I don't think the Rams would do it if they wanted to get Bradford, anyway.

We have too many other needs to give up that much.

Bradford will NOT be a Bill. A while back, I was hoping he would fall to #9 with the injuries and such, but that's not going to happen. Trading to #1 from 9 would be really, really stupid.

I would consider it. Although I'd rather give our third than that second. I am a big fan of a 2nd for Gaither and I think Bradford + Gaither would be worth the picks.

i think Bradford will be real good. I got a feeling, he'll produce right away like Matt ryan

I'd say it would take a #3 or #4, plus next years #1, and a player

No thanks

The only guy I move up for in this draft is Okung.

Why is that? Okung isn't in the same league as half of the tackle prospects to come out in the last 5 years. He isn't as highly touted as Joe Thomas, Jake Long or D'brickashaw Ferguson even. Honestly? I'm starting to think that Anthony Davis is the cream of this year's tackle crop.

the price to move up to #1 overall is way to high.

2 1st's and a 2nd minimum to make that trade, and there will be competition

Forget about how good Bradford is or isn't for a second.

We have a team with a TON of needs that did very little in FA, with the coaches and FO sticking to the line that they are building through the draft.

Now, you're talking about spending 2-3 of this year's draft picks and possibly next year's first on one player? That's just plain illogical.

This team has far too many needs to be trading away picks.

I'd love to get Bradford, but I don't think mortgaging our future first rounder is the way to go. The contract amount is also something to be hesitant about.

Lets throw in our kicker too! Oh wait, you cant trade kickers in Madden....

The answer is no. You put a rookie on the field, behind our turnstile OL, and trade away picks that could be used for that O-line, he will be mauled. A waste of a perfectly good talent, and lots of picks.

I think the only way I trade up for Bradford is if he made it to the Bucs pick at #3. There have been rumors that they are eager to trade down and could be a bargain in terms of how many picks it would cost. I don't know though, I'm usually strongly against trading up. Especially with a deep strong draft that we seem to have this year.
