I would've went Trent Williams over Bulaga, Demaryius Thomas over Tebow....can live with Norwood, and love the Troup pick.

Clausen going first?

Kind of obvious that whoever was in charge of St Louis is a Notre Dame fan.

Dammit! McCoy right before Tebow!

I would of stuck with Bulaga, but agree with you on Thomas over Tebow.

Good draft overall. Im not in love with the Norwood pick just because he was so bad trying to transition at the Senior Bowl but its something he could work on.

Yeah, it's not too bad. I love the first rounder, seems to be several better options in the 2nd round, Norwood pick is decent, and Troup is good in the 4th. Overall, good job of focusing on filling needs, OK job of getting value.

Do you think his quickness, footwork and hand skills are that much better?

I like the Bulaga pick but I agree with DB on taking Thomas, like the Troup pick as well.

I actually like this draft, other than Norwood. Replace him with Pat Angerer and I'd be extremely cool with the outcome.

Hmmm. I would've never guessed that you were homo for Tebow.

You're such a woman. These little gnat bites are adorable! And I love it that you're not afraid to grasp at straws in order to justify this garbage.

I think the footwork and hand skills are. They are not quite flawless but they are damn good and extremely consistent. If he doesnt have a bad game v. Graham then nobody is even discussing this.

Williams is quicker though.

Where is Angerer going to play? I mean Im all for depth at ILB but with Mitchell, Poz, Edwards already there you're looking at a backup position where we could land a starter.

Some guys Id take as alternatives;
OLB Thaddeus Gibson
DE Alex Carrington
SS Reshad Jones

Pat's definitely a ILB. I think either Mitchell or Davis is getting cut. I like Angerer better than any of the prospects you just listed.

I doubt Davis will get cut.

Mitchell might, but I fear that they are going to do the square peg in a round hole thingie with him and put him at OLB.

Mitchell's always been a bit overrated, and if he hits the bricks, no big loss.

I don't see why Davis is untouchable, either.

Agreed on Mitchell, although I think he is a ton overrated.

As for Davis, he was the choice of the new regime and is their guy. Ego's will get in the way of his release.

I do too but I also like a starter mroe than a backup and Im not sure Angerer starts his rookie year.

Davis and Poz will be your starting ILB's with or without us taking Angerer. I cant see any way around that unless they take McClain.

Mitchell is horribly overrated, Id love to cut him.

Maybe. The learning curve for 'backers seems to be pretty low, and Angerer is a stout player from a program with great coaching.

I must not be sold on this Andra Davis stuff the way most people are.

I'm not sold on him, but the reality is it is unlikely the staff cuts him after they brought him in.

Its not that Im sold on him as much as its that he was brought in my the current staff. Why bring him in if he's not going to play?

'cause we need an ILB, and he's the best one we could get. I assume.

Doesn't mean there aren't better ones out there, even if it is a rookie.

Damn, too bad Ricky Sapp was gone before our in pick in the 3rd round, he would be the perfect compliment to Maybin. I still would have taken Lamarr Houston over Norwood, however. The other picks weren't my first choices, but weren't necessarily bad choices though either.
