JUN 6 (morning)--The Kansas City Chiefs, in conjunction with the National Football Foundation, hosted their second-annual Coaching Academy on Friday, June 6th for the more than 60 youth and high school football coaches in attendance. Held at Arrowhead Stadium, the purpose of the academy is to educate coaches on items that range from coaching philosophy to life skills.
The mission of the academy is to elevate the quality of football coaching at the youth and high school levels and to grow the game of football. That mission is reflected in the in the program's guiding motto: "Developing winners in football and life." By improving the quality of coaching, positive youth development is sure to be fostered.
