I'll take him... the more bodies we have that can play tackle this season, the less of a pressure it is on the young guys (Bell, Meredith, draft pick) we have that we're trying to develop long-term.

Flozell Adams is a notch worse then Orlando Pace at this stage of the game and thats not a high notch either. Throw in the temp in the AFC East during football season and he would notmake it past Oct. Simply put, 35 years old, at the end of his career, please, let him stay retired.

I dont care if he's only good for 20 snaps a game. He will make us forget about Kris Chambers.

He can always be cut if it doesn't work out. Nothing to lose.

a) If we are in fact in another phase of rebuilding, why pay big money for an old lineman?
b) If you are an old lineman, why would you want to come to Buffalo?
c) If we do grab Adams, why not bring Reuben Brown and Howard Ballard out of retirement while we are at it?

Flozell is a good O-lineman but in terms of health and age wise i'd be more prone to takiin gaither

Didn't Gailey draft him?

cash-yes, he (or Jerry really) did Gailey's first year.

And the Gaither trade stuff apparently was a ploy to get him to show up to conditioning, since he has a little bit of dog in him...

The guy is done.

5 years ago, I'd be in favor of this 100%, but not now.

The Bills need to stop bringing in FA's who are cheap (Cornell Green) or past their prime. Either man up and pay for real FA's (who are mostly gone at this point), or suck it up for a couple of seasons and build through the draft. But this half-assed approach of trying to fill needs with other teams' leftovers hasn't worked for the last 10 years and it won't work now.
