The BZ's favorite game is back!!! Our annual pick a day game, because last years didnt get completed (my fault) and we have lots of new members, Ill go over the rules quickly.
I post the team who is picking, and each poster who wants to posts who they think the team SHOULD pick. Each morning (I know Im late), Ill tally the votes and whoever has the majority is the pick. We go through the entire first round and our first round mock is made out of it.
Everybody ready?
Here we go....
And with the thirteenth pick in the 2010 NFL Draft San Francisco 49ers select....
1. St. Louis-QB Sam Bradford-Oklahoma
2. Detroit-DT Ndamukong Suh-Nebraska
3. Tampa Bay-DT Gerald McCoy-Oklahoma
4. Washington-OT Russell Okung-Oklahoma State
5. Kansas City-OT Bryan Bulaga-Iowa
6. Seattle-RB CJ Spiller-Clemson

Anthony Davis
I'd go with Bryant here as well of he wasn't repped by Eugene Parker who also reps Crabtree and after last years holdout, I dont think SF wants anything to do with another Parker WR.

Earl Thomas.
Pick 17 is gonna be the offensive lineman.

If they wait that long there may not be an OL to take.

There are two or three guys left I'd take at 17, if I had to have a tackle.
I kinda doubt the next three picks are all offensive tackles, particularly with Dez Bryant still on the board...and if they are, Bryant's a good consolation prize.
The dropoff at safety after Earl Thomas is steep, though. Taylor Mays? C'mon.

I know they have Crabtree but adding Bryant should make them set at WR for years.
Bryant
Unless they plan on ditching Clements after this season than I'd say Haden.

Keep in mind who the sandwich picks are;
Seattle
Giants
Tennessee
Two of the three could go OT, while none are likely to go S. Just food for thought.

Really? I'd say that both NYG and Tennessee have much greater needs than at OT.

Value v. Need though.
Giants need an OT pretty bad Id say, Eli Manning took 30 sacks last year which was the most of his career. You have Anthony Davis sitting there with a big drop off to Bruce Campbell after. Davis could come in and work with Beatty to be your bookends for a long time.

Most in his career by 2. I don't think it's a big deal, as they've got all 5 previously starting OL locked up with Beatty ready to come in at either OT spot.
The Giants desperately need defensive help, and there are plenty of DB's/LB's left on the board to give value to those positions, imo.

I hear ya. But even if Campbell and Davis are off the board, you've still got Iupati who fills a need, and a bunch of other options at OT if they want to reach or wait 'til the later rounds. Depends on how much more you like Campbell than Saffold or whoever.

Bruce Campbell - RT is the biggest hole on their team... they could go with Joe Hayden at CB here, or Jerry Hughes for the passrush... but i think they fill the hole in their OL here

Singletary's priority will be shoring up that mess of a secondary.
