Say what you will, but Schouman was having a nice year when he got hurt.

Seriously, that's much better news than some of you might take it as.

and yet many had TE's somewhere in their mock drafts.

What was his tender? 20 bucks and a bucket of chicken?

Actually, I think his tender pays him as much as George WIlson. $1.7 million

Though I'm not 100% sure that he got a second rounder tender and frankly don't feel like looking it up.

He's looked solid for the last two years before he got hurt. He's versatile, can play the H-Back/FB position and TE. I don't mind Ralph spending some money to keep him around, at least through training camp.

If he doesn't produce this year, get rid of him.

If it weren't for the injuries and the Bills' previous regime's hatred of throwing to the tight end, Schoumann would be pretty damn good.

If healthy, I agree. Not bad depth and seemed dependable when put in the right packages.

As an aside (and not related to his NFL career), I still like watching the replay of the Boise State Oklahoma Fiesta Bowl. Schouman wasnt too shabby.

The guy was looking pretty damn good early last year.... I'm glad he is still with us, and I hope he rebounds from that injury.
