Does anyone know how many playoff games get picked up nationally?

    Does anyone know how many playoff games get picked up nationally?

    On either VS or NHLN?

    Is every game on TV after the 1st round?

    I don't trust the bootleg feeds during the playoffs, especially since the dependability goes down as the number of users goes up. So I'm trying to figure out if it will be cheaper to go to a bar to watch the games that won't be on TV or just pay for CI for the playoffs.

    yeah, if i remember correctly the second round is when all the games get on national TV.

      In the US - If your name is Ovechkin or Crosby you're team will be all over the place. I would bet Buffalo gets some coverage because of Miller depending on the nightly schedule. Once the conference finals begin all games are on Vs.

          I know that the NFL playoffs are not covered with the Sunday Ticket but they are all on regular broadcast TV.

                I think the first two round are more featured on local coverage and then Versus takes over.

                    nhl.com has the official date and times, plus TV coverage. the saturday game will be on NBC, games 3 and 4 will be on Vs. So if we can sweep them, we only have to go to a bar once during the series.

                        The first two rounds are on Center Ice and regional coverage, because NOT all of the games are televised nationally. Most of the 2nd round is, but there will be a handful that are only regional.

                          Games 2, 3, and 4 will be national TV games, the rest are local coverage which means Center Ice will carry them.
