Montreal in 6: Montreal has played the Caps tough all season. I think they steal game one, then win their home games.

#2 New Jersey Devils vs. #7 Philadelphia Flyers
New Jersey in 7 - I think this is going to be a lot tougher than people think. New Jersey will need to get second line scoring here, but then again, a second line goalie means that NJ wins at home in game 7.

#3 Buffalo Sabres vs. #6 Boston Bruins
Buffalo in 7. The Sabres PP has been terrible, if they don't get that together they will find themselves on the golf course. I see Miller stealing a couple games and they win game 7 at home.

#4 Pittsburgh Penguins vs. #5 Ottawa Senators
Pittsburgh in 5. I just don't see Ottawa going on another streak in the playoffs, plus the reigning Stanley Cup champs kick it up a notch in the playoffs.

WESTERN CONFERENCE

#1 San Jose Sharks vs. #8 Colorado Avalanche
San Jose in 5. The Aves kids see what playoff hockey is all about.

#2 Chicago Blackhawks vs. #7 Nashville Predators
Nashville in 6. Chicago has been slumping near the end of the season. Nashville clamps down on Chicago's better players. I think Chicago is in for the fight of their life and will lose.

#3 Vancouver Canucks vs. #6 Los Angeles Kings
Vancouver in 5. I think LA is ia year away from being a good/solid team and Vancouver has been tough, also I believe Luongo is going to be good.

#4 Phoenix Coyotes vs. #5 Detroit Red Wings
Detroit in 4. I know Phoenix has been good, but Detroit is the NHL's hottest team and the veterans come to play in the playoffs.

#2 New Jersey Devils vs. #7 Philadelphia Flyers - Devils in 5. Flyers are soft
#3 Buffalo Sabres vs. #6 Boston Bruins - Sabres in 5. The homer in me overrides the worry in me.
#4 Pittsburgh Penguins vs. #5 Ottawa Senators - Penguins in 6. All the complaints about the senators being an issue for buffalo is over in this series.

#1 San Jose Sharks vs. #8 Colorado Avalanche - San Jose in 6.
#2 Chicago Blackhawks vs. #7 Nashville Predators - Blackhawks in 4. Chitown fans carry the team
#3 Vancouver Canucks vs. #6 Los Angeles Kings - Canucks in 7. This is the best series in my opinion of evenly matched teams.
#4 Phoenix Coyotes vs. #5 Detroit Red Wings - Coyotes in 6. Or one can hope. It would be nice to have the new guard stomp on the old guard.
