Gosselin is supposedly quite good. I know Burgundy recommended him to me a year ago when I was working on a system to rate mock drafts. I would love to get Bulaga there.

Gosselin is the one of the few mock draft guys I respect. He's usually very informed and routinely the most accurate guy out there.

Honestly, looking at those picks, I could see them going that way pretty easily. Oakland's always a mystery, but I have a feeling they won't do the smart thing (i.e. take Bulaga before we get a chance to).

Rick generally has the pieces in place better than everybody else.

He moves it around right up to the draft like most of 'em, but his final mock is consistently on point.

It really comes down to whether KC goes with Bulaga or Berry. If they go Berry, it probably falls just like that. If they go Bulaga, all hell breaks loose and Cleveland has to pick between Berry and Clausen. And you're right, god knows who Oakland will pick if T. Williams is gone.

It comes down to Clausen, a Top 4 OT, or Spiller. Which will it end up being. Odds are OT due to fact that there is quantity. So one team can't end of selection.

Agreed. #'s 4-6 all need OT's, but if any of them won't, it's KC. The moves they've made seem to indicate that Albert will be kept at OT. Or at least, I'm hoping that's what it indicates.

He is connected to NFL front offices like few are in the media and has a good idea what teams are actually thinking.

While I like most of his picks....He has the Jets taking a CB with their first rounder. "Jets need a shutdown corner opposite Revis".....While Cromartie may not be totally shut down, he is still good enough for the Jets to focus elsewhere with their 1st round pick

Gosselin does 3 mocks leading up to the draft each year. He breaks them down like this:

- First mock draft is based off best player available

- Second mock draft is based off team needs

- Final mock is based off sources

The mock listed here is his first. He will release his second next week and it could be very different.

His final mock is posted on the morning of the draft and is his most accurate.

Anyone notice in this mock he doesnt have Spiller as the top rated RB?

Agreed, the last mock is the one you want to pay attention too

He does a very good job of knowing what teams needs are though, minus that Jets pick.

I'd be happy with this. OT and NT are the positions I feel we need to upgrade most.

I would put money on the fact that whoever we take it will be "the guy we wanted all along, he was at the top of our list, we feel he's the best player available" etc.

If we took Bulaga then I'd be hoping McCoy somehow slipped to 41. That would be awesome.

I fear Bulaga can't really play left tackle in the league. I don't want to be stuck with a top 10 draft pick right tackle or even worse have to kick him into guard like former hawkeye Robert Gallery. No thanks. Give me Spiller or Bryant.

I was just looking at Scott Wright's mock (nfldraftcountdown.com) from last year and he also had 8 of 32 correct...I generally use his site for most of my draft knowledge.

I would be very happy with Bulaga...but if they don't get him, I can see them taking Brown from USC later. I'm liking what I hear about Brown and if they can't get their man at #9, then I would love to see them trade up into the end of the 1st to get this guy.
