All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!

This thread is for everyone that does not want OBD drafting Jimmy Clausen. I think we can do better at QB down the road, besides, lets see what we have on the roster now with a new regime.

I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?" "Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet. You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
It was all true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

Id rather not GO qb this year but i understand we need a QB to step up....what kills me is everyone is asking for us to get a qb in 2nd or later.......we have brohm on this roster who put up great College numbers and was a 2nd round pick
i say Lets make our Oline and Dline better so we can run the ball and stop other teams for running...allowing a young qb to develop (not get killed)

I say no. Here's my top ten reasons why.
1) always throws to the right
2) hands the size of a 7 year old girl
3) may be gay
4) attitude of JP Losman = dick
5) McCoy will end up being the better player
6) The last "can't miss" Notre Dame QB was a bust
7) If Bulaga is there he is a better value
8) sick of drafting 1st round question marks
9) He's had all world coaching his whole life. Maybe he has no more upside.
10) If we draft him at 9 we may end up with no LT. If we have no LT he'll go further into his shell than a snapping turtle after we start him and he gets rocked.
