Ex NM Lobo RB. Undrafted Signee by the Titans in 2008-2009 I believe. 6' 240ish, so maybe a fullback? DB?

Maybe lining up the lynch for Campbell trade?

I doubt Washington wants Lynch. They already have Portis, Willie Parker, and Larry Johnson. And this who-dat signing does not replace Lynch by any means, but yes Lynch is getting moved no matter what.

Marshawn Lynch is not going to the Redskins, and he's not going to Denver either. I do have that much info.

Not a FB option, imo.

Power back who has decent hands coming out of the backfield actually. Had back to back 1000 yd seasons with NM.

Career 4.58 ypc despite being the only real offensive weapon they had. 34 rushing touchdowns as well. Nothing too special but as a short yardage kind of a back, he could make the PS.

Tebow will fill that role (let the hating begin)

For the second time in less than a week the Bills addressed their running back position, signing free agent tailback Rodney Ferguson.
Ferguson (6'0” 234) originally entered the league as an undrafted rookie free agent in 2009 when he was signed by the Tennessee Titans (http://www.titansonline.com/) and spent a portion of last season on the team’s practice squad.

doesn;t look like a FB

you can be a solid RB with a solid Line plus u find many diamonds in the rough competition is the best...and yes lynch is gone :( glad i sold his bootleg jersey last year at a game.

RB is one of the easiest positions to find "diamonds in the rough", so you just never know. This guy could be the next great back in the NFL or maybe not.

The "Rod Ferg" Era has started in Buffalo. I expect it to end early this September when he is cut at the end of training camp.

Where's he going, then? Or what are the options you've pinned down?

Bills adding big backs

Buffalo’s last two additions to their offensive backfield bring some noticeable size to the Bills offensive backfield.

Monday’s signing of Rodney Ferguson and last week’s signing of Walter Mendenhall both appear to represent a certain type of back Buffalo was looking to acquire.

Mendenhall (223 pounds) and Ferguson (234 pounds) both carry some weight behind their pads.

It will be interesting to see if the Bills see them as short yardage and goal line type backs or something more behind Fred Jackson and Marshawn Lynch.

I love how people think we're the only team in the league that signs players who haven't made a name for themselves yet.

If the Bills dish Lynch before the draft and Spiller is available at 9, I can't see how they'd pass him up. No offense to Fred, but you're fastly approaching 30 and this is a 2 back league.

I think this along with the Walter M. Signing is purely for depth purposes. Once it comes time for the season one of these guys won't be around.

If we want a big, talented back lets just keep Marshawn.

Add committed to that and we probably would.

Exactly without a player being commited its as good as saying he's just here for the paycheck. My personal opinion is, is that Marshawn just got into trouble to much in Buffalo and he probably feels "outted". Plus he's a raiders fan since growing up from Oakland. Don't get me wrong i liked Marshawn he can be a beast when he turns it on but unfortunately he just doesn't feel the same anymore

As a short yardage back, he does have the additional ability to catch balls out of the backfield. I don't think that is going to make him the offensive MVP by any means, but it does give an offense the opportunity to throw a curve at the defense when they are expecting you to pound the ball on third and 2.

I love how people think we're the only team in the league that signs players who haven't made a name for themselves yet.

Nope we're the only team in the league that does everything in their power to make the team worse year after year..every other team in this division is upgrading and getting better except the buffalo bills...instead they sign scrubs and backups and think we have a chance to compete against the likes of the patriots, jets and dolphins..the bills have MASSIVE HOLES on this team and itz funny how they think all their problems will be answered thru the draft..and i understand there is a second round of free agency after the draft but none of that matters because this team is commited to losing..this is the owners philosophy! so its not the fact its ANOTHER no name player the problem is..THAT IS ALL WE EVER GET! out of all the signing there was only one that was half decent and that was Davis..other then that the rest are not going to make an impact and will most likely be cut.
