Tony Pike is the last guy I want. Dude almost quit college football but his dad talked him back into staying.

I'm ok with the first three rounds, but not pleased.

Overall, it's a decent draft, but I really do not like Pike all that much. The 1st, 2nd, and 4th, I really like.

I'd like pretty much all of those picks except Pike. There's gotta be about 100 better prospects at that spot.

Also, the 5th would be a high for Valentin. I wouldn't mind getting a WR, but we should be able to find better ones in the 5th round. Guys like Joe Webb or Marcus Easley.

if were gonna grab a WR, id like to see us go after Freddie Barnes in the 3rd if he makes it that long

Barnes is a hard guy to get a read on. Some places make it sound like he'll go in the 3rd, some places put him as a 7th rounder.

IMO, guys who have great production, but not necessarily the measurables, are more likely to get drafted earlier than expected, especially in the later rounds. I see him going in the 4th round or so.

yeah i hear ya, the thing that does scare me about him is, is the question is his numbers bigger than his play. I watched him about 5 games this year and i like his size and hands, but hes in an offense that runs maybe 10x a game, and his conference defensively is a joke. its hard to ignore what he did though

Agreed...I would love to get Barnes, honestly. I don't think you dominate like that without having talent. In this day and age, it's best for an offense to have 3 very good receivers and he could be a very good slot guy. I'd be very happy with Barnes in the 4th.

that's the crappiest draft I've ever seen...

One thing that scares me about this draft - Dan Williams might go to Washington because they managed to get rid of deuschbag Haynesworth and want his replacement immediately.

I'd take Hughes over Kindle.

I like Williams ans he's a tremendous talent, but whenever I see a guy with worl ethic questions who tends to tire out, I get a bit nervous about drafting them. I don't think this is a crappy draft though. Why are people so down on Kindle? A playmaker on the edge followed by a great value at left tackle ain't bad. I do not like Pike though. I do love Woods & Lauvou in those spots. It's different than the old regime's approach too and in a good way.
