select an OLB?? Just about every other position is being projected. What if they took Sergio Kindle or Brandon Graham?

I'd come right to Billszone and watch the simultaneous meltdowns.

It almost doesn't matter who they take. There will be meltdowns.

Kindle could be this year's Brian Cushing.

I think the darkhorse pick at 9 is no longer Spiller, I think hes very much in consideration.

I think it is actually Tim Tebow....

And then you will see a meltdown here like Chernobyl... not the wraith.

Well the Bills can go so many directions.
Nothing would surprise me come draft day....

And that's what will make for an exciting couple of days.

i'm going to be at a bar before the draft starts and hopefully i will be buzzed a bit but if the bills pick tim tebow at 9 i will do 8 shots in a row and forget about it. then fall off the bar stool, crack my head open, and with a little luck, bleed to death.

Eb - I actually posted Sporting News' mock yesterday and Lande predicted we would take Kindle in 1 and Charles Brown in 2. Some were bothered by this, but I really like it. I have been hoping for Kindle or Morgan in 1 and Brown in 2, so I was pleased to see it.

It's one of our biggest needs, and Nix and Whaley have both seen first hand what dominant OLB duos (Merriman-Phillips, Woodley-Harrison) can do to opposing offenses. It'll be hard for opposing QBs to execute if we can get a tandem like that paired with our secondary.

I'd rather Weatherspoon then Kindle, and McClain then both. That said i think it sounds like the Bills are going NT at the 9th pick to me.

I don't care who they pick as long as they aren't a bust

I've expressed my preference for the 3 top LT's and NT Dan Williams... but I just want some players that can contribute right away and long term.

The best would be a phone call with an offer to trade down and aquire extra picks. I trust Nix and Co. to chose wisely.

The only pick that would surprise me at 9 would be CB or TE.

You think Weatherspoon is a legit 3-4 OLB prospect? I thought that he was mainly a 4-3 OLB.

+10 pounds and he's an ideal SLB... as is, he makes a great ILB. I'd probably draft him and move him to SLB, ask him to put on a few pounds. he's a great cover guy.. with good hands... and a great feel for blitzing. He'd be a gamer.
