Ottawa beat Pittsburgh in game 1

Not sure how I feel about that. I can't stand either team and I really want Crosby to lose, but I don't want to have to face Ottawa in the next round if the Sabres should survive.

here is how to look at it. you want this series to go 7 games and people get hurt, knicked up and tired, and you want the sabres to sweep and be healthy.

it was tough watching that game because i had no idea what i wanted. but thanks to the biased vs. broadcasters, i decided to root on ottawa. but game two i'd like the penguins to come back

Actually, if Philly wins and the Caps win, the Caps would face Philly, so that would force us to play the Ottawa/Pittsburgh winner in the 2nd round.

If NJ wins and the Caps win, we would play NJ in the second round, if we make it, of course- and the Caps would play the Pitt/Ottawa winner.

Pittsburgh will bounce back. Fleury let in a bunch of soft goals, I doubt that will happen every night.

Let us remember that it is one game. Pittsburgh's defense was not good. Gonchar showed on one play why he is a good offensive defenseman and then how bad defensively a few minutes later. Pittsburgh lost two game ones last season, let's not write them off so quickly a couple of you.

We have a tough road no matter who we face...but Id rather see the Sens get knocked out first and then HOPEFULLY the Pens get knocked out. 2 teams that could for sure stop us this year from advancing are Ottawa (because they own us,minus the game last Saturday) and Pitt (because Crosby owns Miller).
