LenDale White signed his restricted free agent tender Thursday with the Titans, but there's at least some doubt whether he'll spend 2010 in Tennessee.

Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean writes that the Titans would listen to offers if anyone came calling on White during the draft. White has value. He's been a better pro than people think, but it's hard to imagine anyone giving up more than a late-round pick for him because his contract is up.

25 years old, scored 15 TDs two years go (just two less than Lynch has in his career). If he's cheap, would be good complement to Freddie.

yeah but he'd have to come with an extension if we trade for him. No thanks, I'd rather draft a guy

I wouldnt mind having him i guess but Chan or Buddy, cant remember which, said they wanted a home-run hitter type. Id rather have Marshawn than Lendale anyways.

I'm really starting to believe that the Bills are going to take Spiller if the Top 3 tackles are gone.

I've always liked White.

Lynch and White are essentially the same type of back. Except now that White is thinner, he can't get the short yards anymore. Also as was said he would need an extention while Lynch is under contract.

At least White knows how to run forward.

And how much would he need to be paid? Can't be exorbitant

yeah but why trade an asset to replace what you already got. Even if he might be a little better. And really I think marginally.

This is IF Lynch departs

Extension?
White is hardly in a position to command big money.

Nix,Gailey said they wanted a fast, scatback type.

How does White even remotely resemble that ?

He would be a decent replacement for Lynch if Lynch departs....and as long as White can stay away from the drive-thru.

I said extension because he just signed his one year tender. I don't ever want to give up a draft pick for a guy on a one year deal. That is unless it is for a 6th or 7th who most of the time doesn't make the 53 man anyways

I'd agree with that. If Marshawn is gone, then replace with White.

Makes sense.

i'm still confused on what my lynch stance is...but the more i think about it, we've already paid his big money. Now he's on the cheaper part of his contract.

The bills should just let this guy have it. Read him the riot act. Just say, "there is no way you are getting out of buffalo. You can try and play games with us, but even if you suck, we are keeping you on this team. We will ruin your career because currently your wishwashy stance and demeanor is ruining our team."

And tell him about how none of the current trades actually are worth our time. Lendale white, while good, needs a new contract, which means more upfront money for essentially the same player.
