Loved the kid in the interview, gave good answers and I was stoked to be able to do it.

Im posting it in the BZ because there has been a lot of talk about him, so its extremely relevant.

Great read, great interview.

He's the type of boom or bust type QB that could end up being a great value pick, but would still allow us to draft an early round QB next year if they don't like what they see after 1 year since he'll no doubt be drafted in the middle rounds.

Skelton is by far my favorite project qb in this draft. He's built for buffalo.

Nice interview. What round you have him going in?

Looks like there are several teams who are interested in him who could get him before we do in the 3rd (I assume we're one of the teams with a 3rd round grade on him). However, if Arizona and Buffalo are the only 2 with 3rd round grades on him, then we could definitely land him.

Still torn as to if I really want him in the 3rd though. Depends on who else is there.

I'll be talking with Deji Karim in the next few days. I'll try and post some of his quotes on here.

For some reason this guy reminds me of Jim Drunkenmiller...big, strong arm and a lot of buzz just before the draft. We know how Drunkenmiller turned out.

His skill set says late Saturday pick, at the earliest.

More coachable than Drunkenmiller imo and he feels like he has far more to prove.

really good interview, he sounds like his head is on right. I like the idea of the chip on his shoulder as a motivator.

He really sounds like he has his head screwed on the right way. That's all you can ask in an interview like that. Nice work. I think he will have to do an awful lot of work to be ready to start next season. If the Bills draft him, I think Edwards or Brohm will start next year. After that, we'll see. It will depend in part on what the starter does next season.

Exactly, what I love about him is his chip on his shoulder. He's always proving the doubters wrong, he's not a pompous douche and works hard. I would be happy with him in the 3rd.

Mayock has him as his 5th best QB. His rankings have changed a little bit. He also has Tebow above McCoy.
