The just say "NO!" to CJ Spiller at #9 thread!!!

Attention, he is no Adrian Peterson!!!!! He may not even be better then Frd Jackson.

You CANNOT make this pick at #9 if you are the Bills. He is a luxury pick.

Adrian Peterson isn't even Adrian Peterson
I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?"
"Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet.
You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
    It was all
true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can
mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

He's far faster than Fred Jackson and he's also an amazing receiver & kick returner. The most electric offensive player in the draft.

Fred Jackson turns 30 soon and Lynch may be leaving.

He's not my 1st choice but the guy is instant offense and would open things up for other skill players.

Although I've not been in favor of drafting Spiller at #9, the more I hear about him and the more I think about it, the more I'm open to it. He is a playmaker and we need those types desperately on this team.

I know the Bills have more pressing needs than RB but if the top LTs are gone I am not opposed to bringing in the best RB the Bills have had since Thurman donned the Bills uniform.

I think 9 is too high but I wouldn't cringe if we took him.

We need a running game to keep the offenses off the field especially with the jets taking Holmes and the fins taking Marshall while trying to develop a qb at the same time.

With Lynch most likely gone, we'll need more than Fred Jackson.

I would also rather have McKelvin concentrate on being a cb and let Spiller take the kick returns.

Sorry we were a 6-10 team, there are no luxury picks on a team like us.

I'm not opposed to Spiller at 9 at all. I'm a firm believer that our first pick will be a home run hitter on offense. Whether they think thats Spiler or Bryant I don't know. But lets be honest, The offense is absolutely horrible at putting points on the board and eating up time. Spiller would be a great fix for that problem and leaves our defense with a little more time to recover instead of constant three and outs.

Let me preface this my saying LT is a bigger need than RB but RB is a bigger need than most people believe. Freddy is almost 30 years old. Marshawn wants out of Buffalo and played like it last year. His heart will be in it less this year. If Marshawn played he is capable andwould mature then the RB position would not be a need but at its current state it definitely is a need.

there are such things as luxury picks when we already have 2 starting caliber RBs and no starting caliber LTs, DTs, QBs, OLBs, etc
