This is exactly the problem...Ruff is coaching scared. It's been brutal watching him constantly play his 3rd and 4th lines and let the scorers sit on the bench. Once he started playing the more offensive players, that's when we started putting pressure on them. Ruff needs to get his head out of his ass and start coaching better.

It's not easy holding up the 1st period intensity through an entire game. I would like to see that 2 hander on Vanek's knee again and see how that isn't a suspend-able offense.

I said this after game 1 and I will say it again. The Connolly, Pominville and Ennis line are a liability defensively. Two shifts two goals against. Three very soft players should not be out there on the same line.

that line needs hecht to be successful. ennis just doesn't bring the same game that hecht does.

Ennis is very good offensively but is soft defensively. There is a reason why Ennis-Pominville and Connolly finished the game -8 combined plus/minus.
