HNIC did a review (some years ago) showing the importance of game 2 in a seven game series as a predictor of who wins the series....that should be mighty interesting this year.

Using that logic, the #1 seeds of this year would advance in 5.. but that's not going to happen. This year, NOTHING is predictable. no, you missed the point...it doesn't mean anything about winning in 5...the study showed that the winner of game 2 was the best predictor of who won the series...not in what game.Originally posted by JD SabreFan

It is easy to see the importance. If you are the road team you win on the road and you are either 1-1 or even better 2-0 and you are heading back home with all the momentum.Comment
