I have been reading everything you guys have been ranting about over here. I obviously have my two cents about the series, but I like all of you and don't want to create any trolling or drama. If you guys have any questions about my thoughts or about the B's I will be happy to answer them here.

If not that's cool too, Good Luck in Game 4.

what's there to say? you guys are the harder working team. the sabres are uninterested in playing.

if i see another lackidaisical backhand pass in our zone, i will turn off the game...which means, i'll be turning off the game on wednesday at the 2 minute mark of the 1st period.

Hey, at least you talk about the Bruins here all year long, and not just once they've won in the playoffs! I'd be interested in hearing your take on the Sabres performance so far. I know you don't watch them all the time like the rest of us, so I'm not sure what your expectations were heading into the series, but I assure you, they are playing well below mine.

I did think this was the best match-up for the Bruins. Because the Sabres style is typically a little soft. That being said I gave the series to the Sabres and I am not 100% convinced that the Bruins have a hold on them up 2-1.

Miller is outstanding, however the Bruins have the most unconventional offense out there... it's not flashy and they're not accurate, they just hammer the goalie with pucks and hope for a rebound or a redirect. I don't care who your goalie is, no one was stopping that Wideman goal last night... that shot was a wounded duck. IMO the Sabres need to get into a similar gameplan.

The Bruins defense has been terrible all season, but this drop pass thing isn't working for you at all. I don't know if they're looking for the pass too often or what but they're getting bumped off the puck pretty easily and they're not getting the passing lanes at all, they just need to let the puck fly.

Lasty, stop trying to play the Bruins game of hockey, the scrums after the whistles and trying to make the big hits just seems to firing the Bruins up even more. The Bruins have pretty much been terrible all season, but they're playing with a passion and a desire right now.

Ok taking shots at me is one thing but know what your talking about. I did not come here just because we won. I came here for a reason not to talk about us winning jesus man.

Then onto the series now.... Buffalo is my 2nd fav team so keep talking out your ass. If buffalo gets by us Ill be there rooting for them also. So get off your high horse.

I agree with Bedard. I also picked the Sabres to win this series because the Bruins offense is lackluster especially without Savard. I still dont think the Bruins have the series in the bag. And if the Sabres do come back and win Ill be rooting for them to win it all. Now lets just enjoy the rest of the series and dont get down too much right now guys its not over.

I think your defense is playing great right now, clearing all the pucks away from the net and not giving up many rebound chances. The Sabres NEED to crash the net and find those loose pucks. Plus, they need players going to the net and trying to get a stick on the puck. I am driven crazy by the amount of pucks that get thrown near the net or through the crease and there isn't a Sabre within the same zip code.

And who the hell has a 2nd favorite team in the same damn division? Talk about conflict of interest...

I'm hearing Miller lets in too many softies. What do you think? The Bruins are not accurate shooters... but Miller does have a hard time with the top shelf stuff, although that wasn't an issue tonight. Two goalies battled their asses off tonight. After two OT's someone is bound to make a mistake, but nothing about Miller is soft.

Thank you...somebody keeps posting that I think all the Sabres losses are because of Miller. Hmmm, can you say selective hearing...errr, reading???

Sabres lost tonight on two stupid penalties IMO. You give a team enough chances and they're going to capitalize.

Here's my opinion on Miller, from someone who doesn't watch him every game and is basing it just on this series.

Strengths: He really minimizes second chances. He might be the best I've ever seen in this regard. He smothers and controls pucks that should lead to great rebound chances. If he has a chance to catch or smother a puck he rarely misses. Another thing he is great at is covering the lower part of the net. I've seen a few times in this series where he flashed an open 5 hole and closed it in a split second. He also showed good lateral movement at times, diving across the crease and blocking shots that looked like sure goals.

Weaknesses: He doesn't seem to have the best reflexes. He's much better at anticipating than reacting, and is susceptible to getting beat top shelf. He gambles at times based on his years of experience. He goes where he expects a shot to be. In most cases this will pay off, but if a shooter is patient and can pick a shot, it can result in a "soft goal".

Overall, I think he's been very good to great. I attribute his success more to knowledge and experience, than natural talent. I wouldn't quite rank him up there with the all time greats, but he's good enough to be a championship goalie.

I've been saying for years I think he needs contact lenses.

Honestly.

There is no one better in close.

It's the 40 foot slapshots that he never flinches on that make me wonder if he's even seeing the puck from that distance.

Well, the Sabres are not only not accurate shooters either, but they also can't pass or receive one. Every goalie has a hard time with top shelf stuff because they concentrate on covering the bottom of the net.

As I saw it, most of the pucks Rask stopped were open shots with no screens and if he gave up a rebound, there either wasn't a Sabre around or the Bruins tied up whoever was around. He did make one unbelievable save though that could have been the game winner.

Look at it this way, when your team gets an odd man rush, they usually get the puck on the net. When our team does, we usually pass it away or shoot wide. Personally, I think the Bruins are playing very good defensive hockey, better than the Sabres. I think the Bruins offense is doing as well as they can and I think the Buffalo offense is playing horrible and that is the big difference in this series.

I also hate how some people will say that Rask is outplaying Miller. He is playing well, but has let in several soft goals in this series and hasn't been tested a whole lot.

One last thing, Boston has outshot Buffalo in 3 out of the four games. I think that is unacceptable for a Buffalo team that is supposedly much better offensively.

I think Miller has played better than Rask. But that was to be expected... a lot of people had questions as to how Tuuka would respond in the post season, I think he answered that.

The Bruins have done a phenomenal job batting away the loose rebounds.

The Sabres have been too stubborn and have not figured out how to get around the Bruins collapsing defense. This coaching staff needs to figure something out and fast. They need to get into some of these players who still are not selling out and make them understand that it's now or never.
