heard they gave him a stupid contract but I don't have a link. $13 million for 2 years or something like that.

I think he can help but that's too much for a guy his age.

Funny how everyone is improving their teams except the bills..the jets are going to win this division hands down...and the patriots just signed Holt..now they got Moss, Welker and Holt....wow the bills are seriously the worst managed team in all of professional sports!

The Jets wont win this divison hands down, LT is done., Cromartie sucks, Edwards sucks and Sanchez scares no one.

However It sucks to see JT in that puke green, Miami shouldnt have let him go. Ah well he wont get past Jake Long anyway.

Well that should mean that they'll drop one of their pass rushers...

Jets have had a decent offseason, but I think Taylor is over the hill. Put too much money into that old guy. He'll be situational for the Jets, but I guess if money isn't a big deal, it's a good deal.

pretty much what jets insiders have been saying is that he would be situational on 3rd downs.... he's still agile so that isn't an issue, but to be an everydown DE/LB thats just no longer feasible

This is funny...they overpaid for the guy and IMO he's at the end of the road and won't really provide too much to the Jets. Names to sell seats in the new stadium...that's all these are.

The Taylor deal is really a 1-year $3.75M or so deal. And I had a feeling he'd be going there instead of re-signing with Miami. The Jets were going to win the division without him while Miami was going to fight it out with the Bills for the basement.

Well to be honest thats about what happened last season. The fish only had 1 more win entitling them to 3rd in the division. Nobody's worried about the playoff spot 2 years ago. Especially the dramatic drop-off you guys had from winning the division to almost winding up at the bottom the next.

Nobody knows what will happen at this point in time. I'm glad our division rivals are taking us lightly because I honestly believe we will surprise everyone this year. Remember this isn't Dick Jauron's team anymore

Yeah, OR Demetrius Bell. :refuse:

The Dols won't be that good. They lost 2 players who got 16 sacks for them (Porter and Taylor). Dansby doesn't get many sacks. Jason Ferguson is suspended for half the season. And despite having Marshall, the Broncos never made the playoffs with him.

Only 1 team will make the playoffs, and that will be the Jets.

I'll be concerned about the Jets when they add a player that's either not on the downswing of his career or facing suspensions.

One of my best friends (who is a Fish fan, go figure) just sent "Jason Taylor to the Jets... part of my soul was just lost..."

Damn... That's how much Dolphin fans appreciated that guy. I 1) appreciated that man as a player and 2) hope Jets fans realize what a steal they got.

Taylor is a one down player. This tells me that the Jets 1st overall pick in 2008 (Gholston) is not performing to expectations.

We knew that after his first season.
