All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!

Good Shot at Jake Locker?

I know that looking at the new schedule really doesn't mean a thing because of injuries that can happen and some teams aren't as good as the year before, but man our schedule is brutal. We really should pass on a QB this year. I thought some posters were crazy for saying that because I didn't think the Bills would be that bad, but really I don't see more than 3 wins, and if that happens we should have great shot at Locker. Figure the Lions (Stafford), Rams (Bradford) should be bad again and they won't draft a QB so we should really have a decent chance of getting our Franchise QB. To bad it only took 12 years. I am officially on Locker watch!!

wow...the 2010 draft didn't even happen yet, and people are talking about who we are going to land next year in 2011. Unbelievable.

The point I am trying to make is pass on the QB this year get your LT, NT and fill other holes because in reality next years QBs are better and the Bills will be in great shape to get one.

Let's see what happens on Thursday first, but I see what JayV is trying to say. This schedule is really really tough, and based on what we know, (new coach, new offense, new defense) if the season started next week, looking at this schedule I only see 2-4 wins.

Thanks Michael1222 that is exactly the point I am making. Fill some key holes this year and then draft our franchise QB next year.

Wasn't the schedule one of the hardest last season and they still won 6 games under Dick? Damn. If they can pull that off, then why can't they do even better this year? It's not like we lost anybody

realistically though, how can you rag on the original poster. this team is devastated from years of ****ty drafts. two drafts aren't going to fix everything. 2009 and 2010 could be great drafts, but we still have dead weight, and we still have people who aren't designed for our system.

the schedule is brutal, the team will need time. i think QB next year is a good idea and pass on the weak qb's this year.

Agree T-Long but the we won two games against the AFC East. I really don't see that happening this year. Well not at the moment, anything can happen before the season starts.
