I like Bulaga as well. It's funny everyone was bashing Chris Brown from BB.com for taking Bulaga, but now Ingtar and DB have picked him for the Bills too. Lefevour is a good pick as long as the staff thinks he has good enough arm strength.

Re: Ingtar33's 2010 - NFL Mock Draft - Final Version

        Random thoughts:

        - Wow Ingtar, you really don't like Kareem Jackson, Devin McCourty, or Demaryius Thomas huh?

        - That would be a great draft for NE - Spiller, Sapp, Bowman, and Cox.

        - You really think OLB is only a T3 need for Buffalo? I would think that it would be at least a T2.

        - How come ILB is a T1 need for Miami after getting Dansby?

        - Isn't San Francisco supposed to have pick #49? I was specifically looking for them, as I was their GM in DraftBoy's GM Mock Draft game.

        - Have to say that I feel bad for the Raiders - two of the positions that they've spent top 10 picks on recently are still T1 needs.

        - Weatherspoon would be a great fit for the Giants, imo. Love that pick.

        - I agree that I don't think Dez Bryant will really fall too far. Some mocks have him dropping to Dallas.

        - Arrelious Benn that high? Interesting.

        - Ryan Mathews falling to pick #60?

        - So is this what you THINK Buffalo will do, or what you hope they do? If the former, would you like it if the draft went like this?

I'd be ok with the Bills picks...and hate the NE picks...but that is what happens when you are good.

-that was a mistype, that was SF, i typed it as TB, don't know where my head was on that one. But SF needs the CB.

I wouldn't mind this draft for the Bills. Personally i see little difference between McCoy, Clausen and LeFavour, i think they're all about the same when it comes to potential. Clausen is most pro ready with his head, McCoy is most pro-ready with his arm, and LeFavour is most pro-ready for the whole package (even if he's got the worst arm of the 3). They're all high 2nd round values... so i would be happy with any one of them in round 2.

I would be a little disappointed with Bulaga, because i've become such a Trente Williams fan... but Bulaga could come in and start on day 1, and shore up our LT position for a decade, so there really isn't much to be angry about him (i doubt he'll ever make a probowl though)

Austin Lane might not last to the 3rd round... he's easily the best 34 DE left in the draft at that point.... and far better then the NTs left.. so it was an easy pick.

No Tebow? I think someone will pull the trigger in Round 2, though hopefully it is not the Bills.

First of all, I'm curious to read what you think of the Spiller pick.

Second, how easy or hard is it to increase a QB's arm strength once he reaches the NFL? Will it help him to simply be in an NFL strength and conditioning program for a year or so? Would it take multiple years to help his arm strength significantly enough to notice it on the field? Just curious.

arm strength isn't really "arm" strength. It's 3 parts, listed in order of importance.

                      1) Core Strength (torso)
                      2) Footwork/throwing technique
                      3) hand-size/strength

you can fix everything but hand size, and hand size can be overcome. Yes, you can increase arm strength, a good example of that would be Tom Brady. Who for his first 3 years in the league had one of the weakest noodle arms i've ever seen. But he's really improved the strength of his throws over time.

Another good example is Sam Bradford. He had a lot of questions about his arm-strength before his injury. He added nearly 20 pounds of muscle to his torso, and was just slinging the football... that REALLY cemented his #1 pick status. that's a guy who came off of a major shoulder surgery and showed more strength then he had going in.

As for Spiller, I don't like it. Don't get me wrong. He could be the next Chris Johnson... in which case we didn't waste our pick. Or he could be the next Reggie Bush, and be a giant waste of a first round pick. I see more Reggie Bush then Chris Johnson in him. I could be wrong, but he wouldn't have been my pick

We had so many needs, and while RB is a need, i was stunned we took one over OT/DT/QB (granted i didn't think any QB except for Bradford was worth the 9th pick)

More importantly, if you were making the #9 pick, who would you have taken?

I know you picked Bulaga in your mock draft, but I don't know if that's who you would've picked, or if that's what you thought the Bills were actually gonna do.

My wife told me that if I had a dollar for every girl who found me unattractive, girls would find me VERY attractive.

                            MY WIFE SAID THAT!!!
