Sounds like a smokescreen to me...
They are trying to drive up his value and have some team take him very early, perhaps by moving up to draft him.
Unless of course, someone actually DID tell him that they'll take him. I would be baffled.Comment

Jacksonville is a possibility.
I almost have to wonder about Denver. First of all, they've got a decent setup for Tebow to come in and learn for a couple years (Orton, Quinn ahead of him). Second, everyone seems to think Tebow is a guy that appeals to Belichick - why wouldn't he appeal to Belichick's disciple McDaniels?
I don't actually think Tebow will go to Denver, but if he's going top 15, that's a dark horse team I would consider for sure."Misguided political correctness tethers our intellects."

either a smoke screen by the agent to drive up interest, or Jaxsonville. Jax has no 2nd round pick, wants to sell season tickets - so, if they want Tebow they'd have to reach for him in the first.Comment

watch for the bills to trade down from 9 with seattle or SF possibly even denver and get a extra second or 3rd and draft tebow in the teens and then use the extra pick with our 2nd to trade back up in the late first for jerry hughes.Comment

if spiller is there at 9 the ball is in there court. yes we could draft him but there will be 5-7 teams willing to trade up with us to get him. we would then be able to draft tebow in the teens and trade up from our second for hughes and still use a 3rd on a LT or move into the late 2nd with our 3rd and 4th to get a LT.Comment
