For what its worth, Mike Mayock, who is widely regarded as the top draft evaluator on the networks, has Spiller rated as his #5 overall prospect. Not sure in the past decade and a half we have had someone so widely regarded on our team or taken with our pick, this truly is a new regime and era.
What everyone needs to understand is Buddy Nix is telling you what he means, just because you don't want to hear it doesn't mean he doesn't mean it. They are building for years, not just this year, needs mean little, getting the best football players available means everything to these guys. He has said it over and over again, people just dont' want to accept it.
