You guys are going to love this guy....not only he is the top talent there for the Bills pick at 9, but he is also a high character guy. I will post my interview later and also have a 4 minute video of the press conference as well. I can't upload it until tomm, but you guys will have it too!

No ... his mama was supposed to quell the rumors of his character problems...he was always seen as a character issue problem...

spiller is an honor roll student and a very very hard working back in the ACC (thanx to bsudrew), marshawn always had issues, and rumors of said issues...

i like the pick for you guys, but sucks for us :-)

i understand some of you guys wanted a qb, but in the first round, if i was going to guarantee 1st round money..... it goes to 1 of three positions RB, D-Line, or O-Line.....

i like this pick a lot...... who knows still another 2 days, maybe some tradings will take place?

21? Hmmm, maybe I can take my McGahee jersey out of the closet!

Another 1st round running back, though? Anything short of multiple 1200 yard plus seasons is a failure, especially since we passed on Clausen and Anthony Davis.

This is awesome!! He is a WR, RB, KR....that's 3 players in 1!! If we still fill other holes throughout the draft then this is how you build a franchise.

Do you think Marshawn Lynch has gotten the news, yet? He is probably eating chicken nuggets and playing video games at Dave & Busters.

Well, unlike Marshawn, I don't think anyone has ever tried a drive-by shooting on Spiller.

... probably a good sign.

someone might have to watch lynch to make sure he doesn't pull a gun on spiller to get his job back.

I think he is a bit small, he needs to bulk up.

I look at him and I keep seeing less CJ, More of Reggie Bush.

He could be a very good player for you guys, but now you need a QB and an OL. Spiller wont be able to do **** if he's the only weapon and if there is no line to protect him.

I hope he doesn't sound like ParrishSpiller is smart and high character. This is not a pick that addresses the most critical needs for the Bills, but Spiller is going to make some big plays. He's probably not going to be an every down back either. Fred Jackson is still going to get a lot of carries. I just hope the Bills don't wait too long to get their left tackle. There aren't many in the draft after round 1 who can start: maybe Charles Brown, Roger Saffold and Tony Washington. With anyone else you've got to get lucky. Veldheer, Ducasse?

As proof, we take you back to Clemson’s graduation ceremonies last December, when Spiller — upon graduating after only 31/2 years — received a standing ovation from the school’s Board of Trustees.

It was the first time an athlete at Clemson had been honored that way. Clearly, Spiller did his school proud — on and off the field.

Considering we'll never be able to complete a pass against you guys now, it probably was key we got him.

hey as many of those that know me personally i have no animosity to bills or their fans, i just like the fact that there is some NFL football 2 hours west of me...

i really like him as a character, and he seems to be the type of player that is wanted in buffalo...

one thing that surprised me is detroit.... now that millen is gone (well he's been gone since 08, but their picks have gotten better, to the point that they make picks that make sense.)

The line is actually not bad at all in run blocking. Jackson averaged 4.5 a carry behind it. Lynch made it look worse than it is. If there's one thing it can do well, it's pull to the outside, and that's where a home-run hitter like Spiller is the biggest threat.

I forgot how to cheer for the Bills so when Spiller was the pick I just kind of made this sound like, "ARRRRRHHHUGGGGOOOOOOWHHHAAAAAYYYAAAHAHHHH!!!!!!!"

I'll get the hang of it again soon.
